Grant Bubar's Bar Mitzvah

February 6, 2010

It was so nice to see the Bubars again after photographing Grant's sister Jovanna's Bat Mitvah three years ago. The same aunts, uncles cousins and grandma came to Adat Elohim to hear Grant do a superb job of leading the congregation and chant his Torah portion.

Valentine Pictures

It was so fun photographing Jen and Amir's wedding 7 years ago, that when Jen asked me to take pictures of her darling girls for a Valentine surprise for her sweet hubby, I knew I had to make time in my schedule! Jen said that she needed to order more pictures from me because Amir took all the pictures to his office so he could show off his beautiful family.

Alexa Burkow's Bat Mitzvah

Judy Burkow was an especially proud as her daughter, Alexa was called to the bima at Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills since that is where she stood at the very same synagogue as a young bat mitvah.

Yvonne Wolf Events decorated the lovely Brentwood Country Club with an elegant Parisian theme.

A-Packaged Parties set up a comfy lounge scene for Alexa's friends and family to relax while they enjoyed the party.

Rock Star Event Entertainment kept everyone up on their feet dancing and partying all night.

When they weren't dancing - there was plenty of other things to do. Mr. Hoodbrush was there to tattoo anyone with their custom airbrush artistry.

To add to the elegant occaison, a cappuccino bar was set up. Lattes On Location did a first-class job serving custom coffee drinks.

Who doesn't like chocolate? The Chocolate Bar in Encino provided the Burkow's guest with a wonderful assortment of sweets that were as beautiful to look at as they were yummy!

Amanda Rosenberg's Bat Mitzvah

January 30, 2010

Even though it threatened to rain on Amanda's special day, the sun came out to make it wonderful experience for Amanda's family and friends. One hundred and ninety people came to Temple Adat Elohim to hear Amanda chant her Torah portion and lead the congregation. Carol of Grand Events created an awesome "Club Scene" and the Rosenberg's guests dined on luscious food prepared by Parities at Your Door. After a lively grand entrance by Amanda, the Rosenberg's family and friends danced the night away to fabulous music by You Should be Dancing. What a joy it was to be part of such a wonderful event!
